I normally use in class videos from EDPUZZLE. In this webpage you can find videos from YouTube and you are allowed to include questions on those videos as if it were a comprehension practice. There are plenty of videos created by other users and you can make your own videos with the questions you consider more relevant for your class.

WORDLE, a successful word game

WORDLE is the game that rocks it right now!! I'm totally into it!!

You have to guess the each-day-word in less than 6 attempts. It gives you clues about the position of the letters that you guess.

I think it's a fun challenge to learn some new English words!

Also the 7 minute video with up to date news a text and questions are always really good.

It is also interesting because it is classified by levels so very easy to go through

Fiction Express

Fiction express is a website to encourage reading among our students! They can read in English as well as Spanish. The author writes a chapter and gives students 3 different ways of countinuing the story! Students vote and he continues writing next chapter as students chose. They have quizzes, activities and can even talk on a forum to the author as well as other students. It's really interesting! We got it in our school for free thanks to la Junta de Castilla y León and we are using it this school year in both, English and Spanish.

Almost everyone you can choose your language, Spanish or English.

In fact, for this first week after the holidays, I've prepared an activity for my class of technology of 1st of Bach. with the app of the Spanish industrial heritage: as Kristina told us, I made a list with strange names; they had to choose one: they were all related to carbon, mining or steel industry, that is our current lesson; all the names appear in the app. After that I told them about the app: they had to download it and look for their industrial heritage. They have to make a brief of all the content that is in the app and become experts about it. Tomorrow they'll have to tell the rest of the class about his industrial monument and show us some pics on google.

The evaluation is half the exposition and half a kahoot about the pics they will have to make at the end of the presentations.

BAAMBOOZLE es otra plataforma sencilla para integrar el juego a la educación. Permite crear y jugar juegos de preguntas y respuestas para la introducción, repaso o evaluación de lecciones escolares. Wordwall is an amazing website for students. You can play with them projecting it for the whole class or sending them the link of the activities they must do. They love it!

You just need to register and it is totally free. There are different games and you can also create some (if you want to create a lot you will have to pay for this). There, you can find spinning wheels, definition games, who wants to be millionaire, questionnaires...

WORDWALL es una aplicación web que permite crear actividades tanto interactivas como imprimibles a partir de plantillas. Una vez creadas, permite cambiar la plantilla y cambiar el tipo de actividad con un solo click. También se puede usar y editar actividades creadas por otros usuarios así como imprimirlas.

Estas plantillas incluyen clásicos familiares como Concurso y Crucigrama. También tenemos juegos tipo arcade como Persecución del laberinto y Avión, y hay herramientas de gestión del aula como Plan de asientos.

Una vez hayamos creado una actividad, podemos cambiarla a una plantilla diferente con un solo clic. Esto nos ahorra tiempo y es ideal para la diferenciación y el refuerzo.

Por ejemplo, si hemos creado una actividad de Partido basada en los nombres de las formas, podemos convertirlo en un Crucigrama con exactamente los mismos nombres de formas.

De la misma manera, podemos convertir sus recursos en un Concurso o una Sopa de letras y muchas más posibilidades también.
